The last time ChatGPT went down was on June 4. OpenAI promptly fixed the issue, but then the tool went down again a few hours later. ChatGPT also had some trouble in May, when a four-day stretch brought intermittent outages and service delays.

Over the past 90 days, OpenAI says ChatGPT has achieved 99.42% uptime, the lowest reliability of the four services it tracks at “99.4% really isn’t very good for what’s become a business-critical tool for so many,” says one X user.
